A little bit about us
We are Jane and Biagio Impesi.
We have lived in Abruzzo permanently now for 6 years, having previously lived in Campania, Italy.
We started renovating our own home in Pollutri 10 years ago which actually came with a lavender field and over 1,000 plants and then four years later, we renovated Il Melograno House. Villalfonsina was a little nearby village we particularly liked, and we purchased a very special house which subsequently became Villa Adriatica in 2025. La Cantina, which was part of the original big house, was the first project we worked on and we opened her doors in 2024.
We are keen walkers, outdoor enthusiasts, and dog owners. A very special member of our household is Dumbo a young and very characterful hound who actually found us by appearing one day in our compost heap looking for food. 

Biagio is a railway employee and is also a keen gardener and cook, and he will be very pleased to share his local knowledge . Jane is a secondary school English teacher and loves all things outdoors.

We have two lavender fields now and harvest in July every year so we also produce our own essential oil ,soap and lavender bags too.Biagio enjoys cooking for parties who come for his food and the magnificant views and picnics in the lavender fields have also become a favourite too.  
If you like the real Italian food, then Biagio is the person to talk to and may even be able to rustle up a meal for you.
